Patagonia, a geological block between subduction and ocean opening
Résumé: A short presentation about my PhD thesis field : the Deseado Massif in Patagonia. In few word, this (mainly geological) presentation gonna introduce the geological history of the Patagonian block and discuss it potential as study area for deciphering the “plate or plume” model for the Atlantic opening mechanism.
