I am a PhD student working on volatile budgets and recycling processes in subduction zones. My research focuses on how H2O and other volatiles (CO2, Cl, S, F) are stored within the lower crust of arcs. I combine petrology and geochemistry using in situ analytical techniques such as EPMA and LA-ICP-MS with a particular focus on SIMS, where I measure volatile concentrations and hydrogen isotopes (D/H) in natural samples.
